Our Methods

People learn in a variety of ways and each person has preferred methods of learning. Some people learn best by seeing, by hearing, or by doing. These learning styles are known as:

Visual.gif (1336 bytes)visual

Auditory.gif (1940 bytes)auditory

practical.gif (2331 bytes)practical

Learners do not acquire knowledge through one specific learning style but, learn best using a combination of the above styles. Our teaching methods focus on integrating all the learning styles to reach every learner and thus maximize the effectiveness of our training. Our trainers present a balance between lecture, class discussion, illustrations to convey concepts and ideas, demonstrations and incorporate real-life practical examples that students can learn from.

Most learners need time to reflect on the material, while others like to dive in and try new things. Our trainers are responsible for providing varied experiences so that all participants are successful during the training process. To provide a successful learning experience REIGO adheres to the following learning principles:

Modeling & Explaining

We show how processes unfold and provide reasons why it happens

Coaching

We observe students as they complete tasks and provide help when needed

Feedback

We   provide positive feedback and helpful hints to enable learners and boost confidence

Scaffolding

We support learners by assisting them through parts of the task they cannot perform themselves

Reflection

We have students think about and give reasons for their actions

Exploration

We encourage students to try different procedures and observe their effects

Sequence

We proceed in an order from simple to complex with increasing diversity
